Instagram is testing ‘Nametag’, a new feature that will enable users to create their own, customized Instagram code that can be scanned through the app’s camera to immediately connect to a user’s account. (Sounds similar to Snapchat QR codes, right?)
Nametag is expected to make it easier for users, social media stars and brands to promote their accounts with an easily accessible image that could be added to their social channels, website and even offline ads and promotional products. The video below explains how this option works.
