Snapchat’s public relations agency, PR Consulting (PRC), approached influencer ‘Luka Sabbat’ to do some influencing for the latest edition of Snapchat’s camera glasses ‘Spectacles 2’ with a $60,000 USD deal.
PRC’s lawsuit states that Luka had accomplished less than half of what was contractually agreed upon. Additionally, they have stated they did not get to pre-approve any of the content as previously agreed, and that the analytics data was not shared either. PRC is seeking reimbursement and an additional $45,000 USD.
Ultimately, if PRC wins the lawsuit then it would have a resounding effect on future breach of contracts by influencers.
