How often do you see a screenshot of a tweet as a post on Instagram, Snapchat or other platforms? Nine times out of ten, right?
Twitter is fully aware of that and is currently mending bridges with Snapchat and Instagram to enable native sharing of tweets across both platforms.
First off on Snapchat, iOS users can now easily share tweets directly into their Snaps following these steps:
- Tap the share icon on a Tweet
- Select the Snapchat icon at the bottom of the share menu to create the sticker
- Once shared, the Snap will link back to the Tweet on Twitter where you can see the whole conversation
Moreover, Twitter has announced an additional integration feature with Instagram, which will enable users to not only add a Tweet as a sticker in a Story, but also directly share Instagram posts to Twitter.
Seeing these “big fishes” playing together is certainly a significant update to keep an eye out on.
