Welcome to another entry in the series of very small updates that might change your life. The protagonist this time is none other than the most famous video platform on the planet, and, no, it’s not TikTok yet.
YouTube announced last week the introduction of an updated hashtag explorer page, in which will only show content with hashtags. Duh, that’s how it’s supposed to work no? Apparently, not really, since in the previous version clicking on a hashtag in a video will take you to the explorer page that showed you some videos using the same hashtags as well as “related content” that you didn’t really ask for.
This update will fix that by taking away the “related content” and leaving the hashtags only. We acknowledge this seems small, but for a content creator, marketer, or ardent fan this might make things easier and more accurate.
