Instagram launches ads on Reels globally

The moment has arrived, advertisers rejoice! Instagram Reels can now run as ads, so start including them in your strategies moving forward.

On the most technical side, Instagram has clarified that:

As with regular Reels content, these ads will loop and can be up to 30 seconds. People can comment, like, view, save and share Reels ads.

The arrival of ads could also mean that the user base of Reels has reached a significant point in which advertising there has become valuable. Good news for advertisers all around.
