YouTube testing a new search tool

YouTube is testing a feature that could be valuable to your content: a new search tool.

This tool will allow channels to see what their subscribers/viewers are searching for. It is split into two tabs; the first one called “Your viewers’ searches”, the second one called “Searches across YouTube”.

‘Your viewers’ searches’ will allow you to see key topics your audience is searching for, with its volume and traffic. You may also filter the results with what’s called “Content Gap”.

‘Searches across YouTube’ will allow you to gain insights on YouTube searches by searching for a specific keyword or phrase.

This new feature will help businesses in shaping their content and answer users’ needs and demands based on their search history.
